Because You Matter has moved! We're now serving in Sunland Park!

Come and help us build relationships with the homeless in Sunland Park as you grill a meal, provide sandwiches and clothing, and most importantly, listen to their stories while offering respect and dignity. Prayer, clothing and financial donations are all welcome.

Dear Friends,

Nothing excites us more than seeing life played out, and watching God TV. This occurs for us through all of you - getting clothes from the bin, the Senior Group coming to help us fold once a month size and bag clothing, gathering hygiene products from Patchwork Penguin donations, socks donated, lunches made from Ginny Azevedo's LifeGroup, and your endless prayers and donations. The peak of the story plays out at the park each month in so many quiet and loud ways. People such as Joseph wander into our picnic, with a broken spirit and tear-filled eyes. He is given the the gift of the gospel in so many ways: words of Christ, prayer, a Bible, food, clothing, hugs, handshakes and encouragement. He shares how he was filled with hope where it was once lost, and given a charge to keep going. Will we see him again? We pray that we will plus many, many more with Because You Matter at the park on December 29 from 2 - 4:30 p.m.
