I hope each of you are enjoying this Holy Week and are beginning to feel the excitement building toward this amazing weekend of celebration! Thursday night we gathered around the table of the Last Supper and talked about those disciples who turned the world upside down. I never get over the visuals and power of the Maundy Thursday celebration. The images of the table, the candles, the bread, the wine and our church family seated around that scene sticks with me throughout the year.
Starting this afternoon, by God's grace we are privileged to host six Easter services. I can't wait to hear the amazing music and celebrate again the incredible message that we are invited to live - not just exist, but really live! It almost feels like the calm before the storm around here. The choir and band are all rehearsed, the services are planned, the writing has been completed, the plans have been made. Now we lay down our part of preparation and anticipate what God wants to do in the hearts and lives of our community. There is a palpable sense of expectation. Think of the people around you that God might touch through this sacred season. Pray, prepare, anticipate, expect and allow this Easter to change you forever.
He loves, he gave, we believe, we live...
Easter blessings to you....
