Do you feel safe asking the "tough" questions? Do you feel confident of your beliefs? In about 30 hours, we will begin the teaching series
"The God Questions." This six-week series kicks off this weekend with a discussion of the question, "Can I know that God is real?" Next week, we'll move on to tackle the question of the truth of God’s word. From there, the tough questions will continue to flow for the month. As I pray and think about the importance of this series...I am reminded that the goal is not to “prove” the answers to these questions, rather the goal is to give encouragement and fuel for the search and growth in faith. I want you to feel equipped to talk intelligently in this science-driven society. And I want people with big God questions to feel safe in asking. Mostly, I want these weeks of searching, digging, and exploring to yield meaningful content presented in a context of love for the people of our world that never stoops to ridiculing science or the people that find answers there. Jesus spoke of coming that we might have life and have it to the full. Faith in God is something people are drawn to - not coerced into. Are we drawing people to Him?
