Friday, December 16, 6:30-8:30 p.m. at the church

Jr. Highers, our annual Christmas Party is coming up!  It's the best day of the year and we have lots of great things planned, including Egg Nog.  Join us Friday night at 6:30 p.m., and then we'll move into the auditorium for the rest of the night's festivities.  This year's theme is the movie "How The Grinch Stole Christmas", and there will be actual fabulous prizes for the team that knows the most about the movie and wins the most games.  We'll provide dinner, you bring your favorite Christmas cookies to share with the group.  Bring some friends and I promise they'll have a good time, and you'll have a better time.

Jr. Highers, on Thanksgiving morning, while your family is busy making food and getting the house fancy, come help us do something great for the people of our city. We'll meet in the church parking lot at 9am, then carpool down to Echo Park, prepare meals and be back by 1pm, just in time to go see your aunts and uncles. Last year we tried something new and participated in "Gobble Gobble Give" - a huge effort to feed everyone in Los Angeles on Thanksgiving...(more)
