Let's help prevent gang violence in the city of LA by keeping the lights on at Hubert Humphrey Park in Pacoima. Research has shown that homicide rates can drop as much as 87% in these "hot spot" LA parks by simply keeping the lights on during the night. Our church is partnering with the office of Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa to help stop violence in LA by serving and preparing food on Friday nights for 9 weeks from July 8-September 5 from 7-midnight. Your support can literally save lives.

Other opportunities to serve include: crafts, officiating soft ball or basketball, working with kids, nurses to take blood pressure, video games and being an extra hand.
