Some of you have asked about the new Sunday night service time that we added in December, and whether we are returning to a Saturday night schedule. Based on feedback over the past year, we began a little test run to see if one Sunday night service might better serve you than two Saturday night services. It seemed that the Sunday night service was very popular in December and we decided to extend the trial run through the current series, which concludes February 19.
Three factors motivate this "experiment":
- To identify the best schedule to serve the ever-changing needs of our congregation.
- To create space in the schedule to pursue new ministry opportunities, including the future possibility of opening a satellite campus on Saturday evening.
- To preserve the health of our staff and volunteers by giving them some semblance of a weekend.
With all of these factors in mind, we want to be sensitive to your needs and will continue to prayerfully consider those of you desiring the Saturday night alternative. Please let us know your specific needs and help us pray that we could find an alternative that addresses all of the factors.
Thank you again for being a part of Montrose Church. Each of you are very important, and we appreciate your input and prayers.
