  • Bake a Batch of Cookies for Rosemont

    Rosemont Middle School is having their final "Lunch on the Lawn" of the 2012-2013 school year on Wednesday, May 1 - and we get to bring the cookies!  We would love for them to enjoy homemade treats from our church family...so please make a batch - or two!

  • Return Your Baby Bottles and Diapers on Mother's Day, May 12

    As we lead up to Mother's Day, you can help mothers in need in our community in two ways: (1) Pick up a baby bottle* on Sunday and fill it with spare change for Avenues' Crisis Pregnancy Clinic and (2) bring a package of diapers (any size) for mothers at Elizabeth House.  Return all items to the designated locations on or before Mother's Day on Sunday, May 12.

  • Volunteer for Special Olympics 2013

    UPDATE 4/26/2013:  Wow! Thanks to Montrose Church volunteers we have filled all of the volunteers slots for the games. There is still room for people to come and cheer on the athletes.  Opening Ceremonies is at 9:00 a.m., with events beginning shortly after. Dress for the sun and bring a towel to sit on. Thank you!

    Montrose Church is once again partnering with CV CAN to sponsor the Tri-Valley Special Olympics Regional Games. Last year over 200 Montrose Church volunteers made a difference in the lives of athletes, and had a blast doing so. It’s a fun and rewarding event with a variety of jobs to choose from. Volunteer training and registration is required.

  • Because You Matter, serving the homeless in Sunland, 3/30

    Because You Matter has moved! We're now serving in Sunland Park!

    Come and help us build relationships with the homeless in Sunland Park as you grill a meal, provide sandwiches and clothing, and most importantly, listen to their stories while offering respect and dignity. Prayer, clothing and financial donations are all welcome.

  • Spring Fling at Hubert Humphrey Park, 3/23

    Spring Fling at Hubert Humphrey Park, Saturday, March 23, 11:00 a.m. - 1 p.m.

    As part of our ongoing relationship with the families of the Humphrey Park neighborhood, we are hosting the first Annual Spring Fling at the park on Saturday, March 23. You can help barbecue, serve food, paint faces, play games or be a part of the egg hunt team - filling and organizing an egg hunt for hundreds of kids!
