Saving Innocence: Backpacks Help to End Sex Trafficking

November 20, 2020 Austin Nielsen Ministry Partners

Montrose Church continues to be committed to ending child sex trafficking as we support our strategic parter Saving Innocence. One of the first items a case worker brings to a minor rescued from sex trafficking is a rescue backpack, full of necessary hygiene items, a change of clothes and an encouraging note from you. This year we have again committed to building 100 backpacks. It costs around $200 per backpack, but that is a small price to pay to help restore the childhood and begin to bind up the wounds of the innocent victims here in Los Angeles.

Please email Austin Nielsen at to receive a list of all required items for a backpack. Backpacks will be collected through a drop-off at the church on Sunday, 12/13 from 12:00 - 1 p.m. or at the church office (2678 Honolulu Avenue, Montrose) on Thursday, 12/17 from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m.
