In the midst of this global pandemic, where do you find comfort? How do you connect with other people? How do you connect with God? Enter: the book of Psalms. The Psalms, the prayerbook of God’s people, have one purpose - to help us express our heart to God. In this unprecedented season of “Safer at Home”, the Psalms can be a guide for expressing ourselves to God and building connection with others. Whether you feel defiant or reverent, thankful or angry, lonely or overwhelmed, or all of the above - these ancient words are for you. Let’s jump in together to find comfort and connection!
As you can imagine, this Bible study will look very different than our typical studies. There are two primary ways you can engage each week.
- Every Friday morning, starting Friday, April 24, at 9:00 am there will be a Facebook Live video in our private Facebook group. (Request to join Montrose Church Women's Bible Study on Facebook.)
- In addition, we’re so excited to let you know that we are also offering ZOOM groups throughout the week to allow for greater connection and support! If you would like to join one of these groups, when you register (below), please let us know the time that works best for you. Then we can connect you with that group leader for the login info.
Homework/Reading: We are using Max Lucado's Life Lessons from Psalms as our guide for this series. This book is optional. We will also provide reading plans for you to follow.
We recognize that this is all new to everyone (it's new to us too!), so if you need any help navigating Facebook and/or Zoom, please don't hesitate to email me for help! We are here for you and we are all in this together!
