Kid's Musical: Christmas at the Bottom of the Mariana Trench

Passage:

Categories: Christmas

Today's musical, "Christmas at the Bottom of the Mariana Trench," was written by our own David Moore and Eric McClenahan. Our kids (and their families) have worked hard since September, joining weekly Zoom calls, practicing on their own, recording in their homes and in front of green screens! This is unlike any Montrose Kids Christmas musical you’ve seen before!

In the year 2120, two intrepid tweens investigate old ways of life with the long lost art of podcasting and their unusual elderly neighbor, Ms. Emilia Walsh. But her spellbinding Christmas adventure story about healing the power of Scriptural humility and the destructive power of religious pride, turns the girls' bid for podcasting glory into a touching tale of always keeping one's heart, mind, and spirit open to Jesus.

Series: Fear Not

After centuries of waiting and silence, it seemed that God had withdrawn from His people. And then, a startling break came when angels proclaimed, "Fear not!" Zechariah, Mary, Joseph, the shepherds, and the wise men were the first to witness this message straight from God's heart, and revealed through Jesus. Now in this advent season, you're invited to receive the deep truth that fear has truly been pushed aside by the loving presence of God.
